22. - 23. september arrangeres det trenerseminar i Oslo med hovedinstruktør fra USA , Shaun George. Viser til hans bakgrunn fra amatør og profesjonell boksing og som trener for Kinas landslag. Seminaret blir i Oslo BK,s lokaler og det blir sendt ut invitasjon med hotelltilbud Benytt sjansen til å øke egen kompetanse til beste for klubben og norsk boksing.

Boxing Trainer (2005-current)

Ø  Amateur

§  Trainer of Chinese National Boxing Team (4/6 boxers qualified for 2012 Olympics)

§  Trainer of more than 15 amateur boxers in preparation for national and international level tournaments

§  Trainer on “The Next Great Champ”- a reality based boxing tournament which aired on US network television in 2005 (light heavyweights)

§  Compiled a record of 18-3

§  Won three national titles (USBA, NABA and IBC-178lbs and 190lbs)

§  Ranked in top 10 in all major world organizations from 2007-2009

§  Mentored and managed by Lou Duva (Hall of Fame Trainer of numerous amateur and world champions) and trained by Tommy Brooks (Hall of Fame Trainer of notable amateur and professional champions such as Mike Tyson, Wladamir and Vitali Klitchko, Evander Holyfield, Pernell Whitaker, Mark Breland, Meldrick Taylor, and Vassili Jirov, among others)

§  Retired due to recurrent injury

§  Competed in over 10 international tournaments and dual meets

§  Three time (1993, 1994 and 1995) Junior Olympic Gold Medalist

§  1997 Junior World Championship Bronze Medalist (178lbs)

§  Trained under Al Mitchell (US Olympic Coach) and George Washington (former amateur trainer of Mark Breland,1984 Olympic Gold Medalist-USA and Riddick Bowe, 1988 Olympic Silver Medalist-USA)
